2019, obtained Master of Medicine (MMed). Degree nostrified by the Research Council of Lithuania.
2018, graduated from Vilnius University and obtained degree in abdominal surgery.
2018, defended the doctoral dissertation in Medical Sciences at the Ruprecht Karl University of Heidelberg, Germany.
2018, completed residency studies in abdominal surgery at Vilnius University.
2011 – 2012, studied Medicine Science at Universität Leipzig Medizinische Fakultät, Germany (Erasmus Exchange Program).
2007 – 2013, studied Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University.

Work experience
Since 2019, an abdominal surgeon, coloproctologist at “GK Clinic”.
Since 2018, an abdominal surgeon at Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos.
2013–2018, a physician assistant at Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos.
2007–2013, residency studies (physician assistant) at Klaipeda University Hospital, Klaipeda Seamen’s Hospital, Republican Hospital in Klaipeda, Hospital of Plunge, Children‘s Hospital of Vilnius University Hospital Santaros Klinikos.

Since 2015, member of the Vilnius Society of Surgeons.
Since 2016, member of the board of the Society of Lithuanian Mini-Invasive Surgery.
Since 2017, member of the International Gastric Cancer Association.
Since 2017, member of the Lithuanian Association of Stem Cell Researchers.

Mr. Ūselis worked and completed internships in London (United Kingdom), Heidelberg (Germany), Leipzig (Germany),  Düsseldorf (Germany),  Dundee (United Kingdom), Tallinn (Estonia).

Areas of his professional interest include abdomen, stomach & colon, anus diseases, minimally invasive surgery, laser surgery, both minimally invasive and surgical treatment of obesity.

Mr. Ūselis is a speaker of various Lithuanian and international scientific conferences.
