Lip modeling with auto-fat injections
When forming the contour of the lips, they are thickened so that they appear fuller, more puffy, and wrinkles are reduced both on the lips and in area around them. In most cases this procedure requires the use of tissue fillers, and less frequently – auto-fat injections.
Since for lip modeling with auto-fat injections the fat comes from your own body, this method has many advantages:
- The natural way, only your own tissues are used;
- Long-term effects;
- There is no rejection or allergic phenomena;
- Especially suitable for patients who are allergic to tissue filler;
- Very convenient for those who do this along with liposuction surgery.
How does lip modeling with auto-fat injections work?
Your own fat is injected in your lips, thus, thickening them, making them bigger, eradicating small wrinkles on the lips and around them.
Is the procedure safe?
Lip modeling with auto-fat injections is a safe procedure, because only your body’s own fat is used. You can not only thicken your lips, but also correct their shape, mitigate it, or even totally cure some of the facial wrinkles (eg, this is particularly suitable for wrinkles, coming from the nose toward the corner of the lips), adjust the shape of the face (accentuate cheekbones or face chubbiness).
Every year thousands of patients choose this treatment method, so it quickly became a very popular method to correct visible signs of aging.
Where does the fat for this procedure come from?
Your body fat is used. Fat tissue is usually taken from another location (eg, abdomen, buttocks and thigh areas) and injected into the desired area – the lips. It is very convenient to carry out this procedure alongside a liposuction operation.
